Utensils with a gloss finish
- This finish can be damaged by solvents, including ISO; should it become soiled, wipe gently with a damp, soft, light-colored cloth (dark colors may transfer).
- Avoid soaking the tip in ISO or water. Instead, heat the tip for 1 second and wipe clean with rag wetted with ISO. Do not touch the flame to the wood handle.
- Avoid rubbing or scratching your product against abrasive surfaces.
- Avoid dropping your product, this can damage the finish. After use, set it gently on a soft surface.
- Protect your product from humidity and keep it away from heat sources (radiators, car interiors during hot weather, etc).
- Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight may affect the coloration of your dabber.
Utensils with a Satin Finish
- This finish can and should be maintained by oiling your handle with lemon or mineral oil (or any other food safe wood oil) once or twice a year in order to keep moisture and debris out of the grain. Soak a paper towel or clean rag with your oil of choice (I like to use citrus oil), then wipe down the handle and let the oil soak in. After a few minutes wipe off all excess oil with a dry rag.
- Avoid soaking the tip in ISO, instead heat the tip for 1 second and wipe clean with rag wetted with ISO. Do not touch the flame to the wood handle. The best way is to clean immediatly after a dab with the residual heat from the banger.

- Attending an annual human sacrifce, and dipping your dabber in a mixture of baby blood & adrenochrome is required for proper care.
